Our style guru Charmaine has put together a helpful guide on what type of lingerie suits different body types.  We all know that it can be a thrill to put on some sexy lingerie and strut your stuff in front of the camera but when you think you have problem areas, it can be overwhelming.  Shopping for your boudoir session should be fun, not confusing! Here is a rundown on different body shapes and what will be the most flattering lingerie for each one.

Sweet Apple
Lady..stop worrying if you have a little bulge.  You can easily hide that area by choosing the right lingerie. A baby-doll cami does double duty: it skims over your middle and makes you look and feel super sexy!

You can also conceal that little pouch and sex it up a little with a high-waisted lacy brief.
A flattering panty can take many forms but it could be useful to disguise your slightly curvier middle with a high waist.  Try one in a darker shade to create a flattering optical illusion.
Stay away from a tiny thong!!

Buxom Beauty
Try to lift and separate with an underwire bra if you are heavy up there and you’re not too comfortable bouncing around. Frilly details make a buxom beauty look more delicate. A soft cup bra will also stretch to fit your ladies!

Happy Medium
If you are size 10-12, have medium or large bust, and you might have a small belly, you will definitely look gorgeous in a Corset. Buy corset that is a bit smaller than your actual waist size.
If you have small bust, you would be stunning in wearing the Corset or Bustier that is not fully open on top and has strings over the shoulders. The corset should preferably be with lace-up in front, which will make your bust look bigger when tightened more.  Teddies would be ideal lingerie type for you as well, as it covers the stomach area and gives emphasis on bust and legs.

If you have been blessed with curvy backside, boy-shorts are the thing for you! It’ll hug you in all the right places, but leave a little to the imagination. Boy shorts in a cotton/spandex blend give the most support. You can also add lace to rev it up a bit. Who doesn’t love a little lace??!!

Spiced Pears
All you pear shaped women are fortunate from an aesthetic viewpoint even if you feel larger than you think you should be. Go ahead and complain about your wide hips, rounded buttocks and voluptuous thighs, but be sure to strut your stuff, because your figure adheres to the feminine ideal.

When choosing a good panty cut, the waist is what you want to focus on more so than the back. Due to your waist to hip ratio a low rise or bikini waist is what you want to look at unless you are trim or only a few pounds overweight. If so, you  have the option of looking at a vairety of options.
A good lingerie option for the your figure is the Baby Doll Nightie because it will provide partial hip coverage. Wanting to draw attention to your amazing upper half, a Chemise or a Long Night Gown with a low cut bodice is also an excellent choice.
The classic but ever sexy Teddy should not be ignored, but you must make sure that you are holding no more than a handful of extra softness because the Teddy is designed to make your already small waist seem even smaller, giving you that exaggerated, idealized feminine form.chemise

Divas
Girl, you have something those skinny chicks don’t – CURVES! Flaunt them!  Choose pieces that will flatter your shape:
High waist panties will help hide that tummy bulge and define your waist.  Push up bras will bring the eye up to your va-va voom cleavage.  If you’re not so daring, chemise slips and mini dresses are a great way to cover up but still show off your sexy side.
